CallLane Lite privacy policy

Who we are

CallLane Lite is a free macOS app made by Hardeep Singh. For any privacy question, email support@hardeep.cv.

What the app does

CallLane Lite keeps your Mac’s input on the microphone you pick, so AirPods and other Bluetooth headphones stay in high-quality listening mode during calls and dictation. It does this by setting the Mac’s default input device.

The app never opens a microphone and never reads or records audio. It does not ask for microphone access.

What it stores

The app keeps its settings on your Mac, in its own sandbox container: the microphone you picked, whether the lock is on, and whether it opens at login. Open at login is off until you turn it on. These settings never leave your Mac.

What we collect

Nothing. CallLane Lite has no network access, no account, no analytics and no tracking. We receive no data from the app.

If you turned on sharing crash data with app developers in macOS settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports. Apple handles them under its own privacy policy.

Third parties

The app contains no third-party code that collects data, and we share no data with anyone, because we have none.

Get updates by email

The settings window has a “Get updates by email…” button. It opens your own mail app with a new message to support@hardeep.cv. The app sends nothing itself. Nothing reaches us unless you send that email.

If you send it, we keep your email address only to tell you about CallLane Lite updates. Ask us and we delete it.
